Projects 1963 Buick Rivera progress shots

<o></o>I’ve been working on it for almost two years. Stripped it down to bare metal, did all the metal and bodywork. My dad’s friend Sandy Morita graciously taught me how to paint.

My interior might look like this...

 

Now, I'm starting to like that. Sweet color and good plans for the interior. With a car like that, if you aren't careful, you might find some nice *** sitting in the p***enger seats.

 

You obviously learned well. That is a keeper.

these are my favorite 60's cars. i have a 64 and a 63 the 63 is all power picked it up for $600
the 64 i am thinking of donating it to the local high school so the shop kids can build something cool.

 

That color is just popping. Its great

The 63 Riv was one of my favorite cars when I was younger. Still is. It was so far ahead of it's time stylewise. Beautiful job and the paint is spot on for a car like that.
I envy you guys & ladies with honed fabricating and welding skills.

Love the Rivi's...dig the color on that one...almost shot something similar on my panel...here's my 63

 

Lime green is a great color, but it has to be the right shade of lime green to really pull it off. This is, in my opinion, the perfect color!

 

She is going to be sweet once she is finished.
The white against lime really pops in the interior.

I don't like the color, but I love it on that car. Good job. This is coming from an ***hole who has worn nothing but black since 5th grade though.

 

Looks like 65 tail lights update? Looks great man, perfect color. I am on the hunt for one of these now. Nice job all the way around.
