I got a '55 F-100 a few weeks ago planning to do an engine swap. The other day we noticed the engine was covered with new hoses, wires, freeze plugs, etc But very stuck. We soaked it,didn't work and today pulled the heads to find all new innards and a little rust. Where can I buy gaskets, rings and rod bearings at a decent price. NAPA wanted to **** me and no one else in town had a listing. Are there any online sources to try?

Go to any reliable engine rebuilder/machine shop and they have access to warehouse distributors and can get you any thing you need at affordable prices. I get Yblock or flatty parts and pieces without any problems this way

Yes on Mac's, also our Parts Plus has most stuff, as does NAPA, etc... Yblock rebuild parts aren't too hard to locate.
