O/T Speedway Trike??? Have you seen one Before

Any help will be greastly appreicated. I found this for sale localy but have not found any info on it, and thought you guys and gals could let me know what you know.

The pics are from my cell phone so I'm sorry about the quality.

The engine looked like a 1 cylider 4 stoke with a centrifical style clutch runnuing to the rear spoket, The throttle mounted on the handle bar and the brake was a pedal on the right side that pushed against both wheels. THe hub caps and wheels matched and say SPEEDWAY on them. It looks pretty much all there eccept for the seat.

Again any help would be great.

I think this would make a great pit bike!!!!

 

The only information you need is how much is it, and do you have the desire/cash to buy. If not I'll send you the asking price and you can ship it to me.

I'd put an electric motor on it and fix it up to cruise at the swaps. If they give you any **** about only allowing handicap vehicles, till them its a 'vintage' handicap vehicle!

any chances that some farmer made that out of spare parts?..kinda looks that way to me.

 

i know nothing about it except it looks cool and would be fun to have. if it's not a lot of money i suggest you get it...if you don't want it p*** it on , i'm sure there would be takers

Okay since I've had my fill of fun...I'll let you in on a secret..I've had an idea of what it was all along! What you have most likely started out as an Eclipse Speedway Reel Mower and possibly the sulkey that goes behind the mower. Then some one most likely turned it into a trike/scooter of sorts.

Here's a pic of the mower, and one of the sulkey that hooks up behind it..


They aren't the same year, but I don't think they changed them much..
