Blackout- great meeting you today. Sorry I was so pre-occupied wiping the mud off my car. My friend had just bought a sweet 55 Chevy Big Window truck (from the GG western coordinator) & was just taking it out for a spin. I had just pulled in 10 minutes before (following them back in) & found the water & mud at the back entrance.

What a weekend! My 1st time to Del Mar. The pics are only the tip of the iceburg. There was one hell of alot of cars!

Not without drama for us. On way down- caught a big rock in the driver headlight & blew out the bottom of the lense, light reflector & bent the ring & housing.
Better there than in the shell or my paint!

On way home- Highway Patrol pulls along side of me, then slightly ahead of me. Then falls back, pulls in behind me & flips on his lights.
In our haste- I hadn't put the sticker on my plate (it was behind my seat) & then he decides to walk to the front of the car.
Sir- do you know you have a broken headlight?
Sir- I'm going to have to cite you for that violation.

The broken lite is hard to see in the pic- the hole is hidden by the Moon gas cap. Lense is all cracked to hell. The ring is the only thing holding it all there.
Should make a few people happy- it's the light w/ the LA Roadster show sticker!

well i didnt see one cat. and i think i only saw a few chicks.

good thing you had tons of *****in rides. looks like some quality stuff showed up to play in the sun. pictures like these motivate me to finish my car the right way, not the easy way.
