I don't know man. There's a limo company up this way that has a super-stretched Checker Cab to cruise the city with. I'm sure that car would rent as well. Modernizing would be a must so you could have any driver operate it. There's a lot of "TV Hot Rodders" out there that would just love to go out cruising in that thing.

That was really funny, thanks for that, and good luck with the robot and the limo.

Whatever I do with this is going to require money..and right now I'm focusing that on buying my wife something nice...something that will arrive the same day as the car or maybe just a couple hours before.

I'll post up the robot pix in a couple of weeks. Right now they are drawings and collections of parts on the floor. I'll get a few together and possibly build one extra robot suit to hide in when that land yacht comes home if I don't have success in finding that apology gift for the Mrs.

    Damn you Crown Royal...Damn you.

You should have bought your wife a matching '58 Fury. Or maybe that would be redundant after she saw what you bought.

I know at least ONE thing you'll get outta that divorce settlement...

I was trying to think up something funny about this... But I got nothing...

I have no idea what you should do with that car.

Next time, get a tattoo. :p

You could cut out the back 4 doors and put in a hot tub... Then grow a mullet, wear black leather and relive those '80s hair-band hey-days...

You might as well right? You're divorced now... :D

I'd find a 300 front clip for it and paint it Gauguin Red.

Like this, with about another hundred doors.

Cool as hell dude! I'd like to tackle something like that, just not sure where I could find a place to work on it or keep it. :D How about a taxi for picking up and taking home your drunk patrons?

Definitely a cool car, BUT a very big car. I would focus on the drag axle or one of the cool blowers you have laying around. This just seems like a really really BIG project. What happened to the bug g***er?

btw, very cool well written post.

Wow, I can only imagine how many 392 hemis that car must have. You're a genius!

Take a cue from Linders and turn the back half into a ramp truck. Redneck Smooooth

  20. Drinkin' can get you in trouble, but you don't know it till you're sober. So just keep drinkin'.

I have a picture somewhere of a strech Toronado, I'll find it and post it. :)

I think you won the argument about the two door not being big. Tell her you had to buy it to prove it. Good luck.

    1. Drink some more.

    2. Build the robot.

    3. Drink some more while the robot builds the car

once you got it done do you have a large enough dock to park that thing ? You could get 3 or 4 of the cars that cosmo had. you could keep them on the roof rack . pull them down when you want to park it. every on have a radio. like how ocean going tankers use tug boats.

Actually, this thing only has one 413 in it. Seems underpowered huh? I'm thinking it's long enough for a multistage rocket engine...
But clearly this car is intended to be roadraced on a really small oval.

I truly don't have a clue what was going on that night. It all seemed so clear when it was happening. I'm really looking forward to drinking again tonight. I need to revisit my vision quest.
