I would love to come and check it out. How do you guys feel about guys that are new to metalworking and really have no clue what they are doing, but want to learn? I ***ume this is going to be in or near the cities?

Its between Northfield and Cannon Falls.Alsothis is not an open house, you should bring eye and ear protection and a truck load of enthusiasm.Like what is stated on the MetalMeet site there are plenty of projects to get involved with.Dont worry about having to keep your hands warm(no one allowed to stand around with hands in pockets)there will be plenty of demonstrations and things to do.Any questions feel free to PM Dan

I have been to the last two and when I started I was bright as a brick concerning metalwork. This winter I am building my own pickup box from Discount steel.
I plan on bring my front fenders to finish and on door from my 54 project. That should be the last of the metalwork.
here is a link to my 54 project: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=334140

Thanks Dan. I'm going to have to see what the weather is like this year. I have to much bare metal to chance hauling it if it rains.....

I was really hoping to be able to make it out but I had work stuff come up for that weekend. Hopefully I can make the next one.

This weekend!!! I'm loading the truck and leaving in the morning. These Metal Meets are fun. It's a good place to pick up new ideas and learn new techniques.
