This last month has been really crazy here at the shop. I feel as though there is a spark, like I am on the verge of something. There is alot happening. I found this new way to post pics with a thumbnail, if you click on it it will be fullsize. I've been doing alot of building, the party was AWSOME and the MFS shoot was spectacular. On top of it all The band has been playing nonstop. Lack of sleep has made me crazy. BUT, I like it. I'm not really worried about the state of the "scene," or what those Old Skool Rodz guys are talking about. It just really doesn't matter to me at all. I just want to figure out a way to keep doing what I'm doing, the way I want to do it. Anyway, here is an update on the Old Hot Rod 29 Roadster I bought about a month ago. I still can't believe Cheater Chris drove all the way to PA to pick it up. That rules. It is a really neat old car. It's all molded in lead and has some really neat parts on it. Basically, I scored some front wheels from Cheater Mike. I had the frame blasted and did the sweep to lower the front. I mounted the rear end with a 40 spring and the rear wheels are the origional front wheels off of my roadster. The engine is a 50 Olds with a U-Fab intake, dual Point distributor and it is mated to a toploader. The whole works was in an old Hot rod 32 Plymouth Coupe. This car will be built with ALL old Hot Rod parts. No aftermarket anything...... The coolest part about this car is the "Customer" was actually my dad. It was his 60th birthday a couple weeks ago so I thought it would be cool to build him a Roadster. I had been collecting parts, and my family and some friends all pooled together money to buy the body and rest of the stuff I needed foir it. I gave it to him at the party, and he was completley blown away! He is always so suportive and proud of everything I do I wanted to do something special for him. Now I will help him finish it. It's going to rule. I built it in front of him, telling him I was going to sell it on ebay. It worked out really well and I am glad no one spilled the beans. Thanks to all who contributed. This is the day I got it, the first mock up. This is what it looks like now. I really like this car. It will be really special when we get it done. The party was AWSOME! Thanks to all you guys who showed up. I'm sorry if I diddn't get to talk to everyone, someone was always asking me for something so I was busy all day. I have a new respect for people who put on show's. It is alot of work. This was more of a party than a show, but it was still a ton of work. It was all worth it though because I had a blast. Here's My dads roadster all decortated. The party was great there was a decent turn out, it really couldn't have been better. Did anyone get pics of the roller derby girls? Laura is at roller derby practice right now......... Thanks again to all who came, my pics ****, but I was kinda overwhelmed with everything. The real fun diddn't start until most the people left. A few of us were up all night blowing off fireworks and trying to flip my dads golf cart. The cap was when Tuck and Max Wedge decided to try and blow the tire on Burgers bike. It was funny as hell. Look at Burger "Loving It" HaHa It was Awsome and I think we'll do it again next year.
The week after the party we did the Build up of Tucks roadster for MFS. It was alot of fun. That car will be killer. The week ended with me running out of gas while taking Evel to the airport. That's the story of my life....... It all worked out because we ran out of gas right by the restaraunt wher Cheater Dan's Girlfriend works. She totally saved the day and let us borrow her car. Evel still missed his flight on account of a traffic jam, but it all worked out in the end. The whole thing ruled. Evel, Tuck and Redpunk, rule. It's like we went to battle together or something........ Here's some more pics of **** at the shop. Tucks Roadster. It's really good to have the Bleedster back at the shop, it's been in storage most of the year. Now I can Finally finish it. There will be some big changes made to this car. I've put alot of thought into it. Max wedge drove the H-Bomb today for the first time. It's running AWSOME!! I'm still pretty excited about the Triumph. This is PBRMEASAP's little truck I am building the frame for. It is almost done. I really like the stance of it and it's stubby look. It kind of remind's me of a dirt track racer or something. Hot rods everywhere. That's all for now, I need to get back to work............... ACEHOLES, Punk Rods.

Dude that f'n RULES. I can't thank you guys enought for the excellent hospitality, it was so much FUN! so much happened I almost forgot about trying to blow up the bike tire and you rolling the golf cart on top of us hahaha.... fireing bottle rockets at you guys with my PERFECT AIM... lets shoot burgers bike... I had a blast, and you got me so riled up I came home and reset my rear window on my "other" shoebox, got the doors cut down and the pillars canted, the chop will be damn near done tonight!!! there's nothing like 4 guys dropping there "real" lifes and hanging out building ****...Lighting stuff on fire...Running from Smokin motors... and sleeping 5 hours a night to get up and do it all over again...for a week... I feel like I went to Hot Rod School and got the **** Kicked out of me by the Jocks.,., I learned so much for all of you.. This trip was a TRIP... I will Post some good stuff SOON... Ow and Bob Sr. is the coolest ,,,,There was no point durring the MADNESS that he steped in (As Some Dads Would) and say hey you guys need to cut it out,.,,He was down for every thing!!!! Even Puttin burgers bike up to the Shop and try to blow out his tire...Or helping us fix the golfcart so we could reek havok on the streets of Delefield at 3 in the morning,.,,For this I lable Bob Sr. RULER!!! Evel, I feel the same way... I learned so much over the week. It Ruled. Plus made great freinds. I wish I didnt need to sleep while I was there so I could have learned more. But Im thankful for the little sleep that we did get. Iv actually had trouble sleeping since I have been home. All that new stuff I learned rolling around in my head. That was the greatest time. Thanks Bob, Tuck, And Evel for schooling me. I had a blast. You guys all rule... Your Right Bob SR is a Ruler... And Bob, you just plain kick ***...Tuck, Im emailing you right now. I got a idea...
Thanks for all the kind words fellas. I've been taking the keys out of the golf cart at noght so Burger doesn't take it. I'm woried he'll drive through nieghborhoods and try to peek in teen girls windows...... I think last week will be one of the best times of my life. If I wasn't so dumb I would resise the pics. I'm not sure how...... It will be funny to see the MFS piece..... I think I insulted Canadians, Gays (Not so much people who are gay, more like THINGS that are gay), Californians, Matco Tools, Maine and I'm sure a few things I forgot. I really was just kidding........ OOPS. HaHaHa I guess the thing I learned most all week is that Tuck taught me about all of the uses of a sawzall.....
