So how tall are you? I am just looking at that cab and thinking myself at 5'11" would never be able to sit in the drivers seat without having my peddles 6" on the other side of the firewall?

... i sat in the truck today after getting a few odds and ends done just to make sure of the clearences for making the seats work and also comfortable and dont see any issues as of yet...the seat i thought about using is the rear out of a 80's camaro because the bottoms are split and the top is not... just a idea...pics of the complete dash tommorow...

Well, I guess I have to figure out were this thing is now. I have to say it is really taken some different turns from when I have seen it last. So where are you hiding it.........lol.............Jerry has been telling me about it. Oh yeah when will it be done? I am hoping to have mine for the Jalopy Showdown.....But that is just a dream at the moment.

Another thing I was thinking as to where you found the room in yours being as tall as you are because my Model A truck is giving me some leg room issues and I am only 5'7"......but then I realize these trucks have that nice little kick out in the firewall. So that is a big factor along with the extra length that they are.

I agree joe ,there is no room in the model a's and unfortunately that ruins my idea of gettin one but i am looking at a sedan that ricky has. The truck is on the west side of binghamton at my place.Get jerry to bring ya over anytime or get directions from him.

As much as I can appreciate your denial of your build being a rat rod I'll make a challenge. When your finished, ask 10 random people what they think of your ride. I'll bet over 50% will use the term "rat rod" in thier responce. Not your fault , just a fact of life.
Now, maybe some you younger guys will appreciate the fact that in the beginning of this hobby/obsession it took a lot of work and dedication to overcome the "outlaw" label that hot rodding was saddled with in the early days. Back then a leper was more welcome than a car enthusiast.

Then those 50% would be uneducated with no appreciation for good work i suppose
