Hi guys, just received my Fresh Rat in Holland. It played in Rebelrods and was featured on the cover of Ol Skool. It is Sammy built. Now putting 6x2's on it, Lokar 32", Moon tank, finned air stacks and custom straight Zoomies. Next week hopefully driving. No Rats available or present here, so kind of cool. HA HA you're funny... I hope you're trying to be funny and not being a snob, cuz that act is tired. The car is a 29 roadster the "rat" referring to the style... I know I know the term is misused, misrepresented, debated the whole nine yards... The car is clearly a 29 roadster with some modifications. Also the custom paint job which was done by Jimmy C is of a Rat that is the name of the car. Does that answer your question?
I had a hell of a time driving this car! I too love a bare bones mobile... I think you are doing it right... How did I get involved in this... I was just initially surprised when I saw this guys avatar was a picture of me. blah ha
It's not being a snob, but we're not fans of the rat rod thing here. To many ****ty built ****py rusty unsafe POS's out there going by that monicker. Maybe call it a Hot Rod and quit trying to be so cool. And come on a bungie cord holding the trunk closed. I wouldn't let that leave the shop. It's cool to see people into old cars but geeze...

You know I am not an instigator, but I AM very protective of my Sammy and I DO appreciate the craft I DO know the difference between a piece of **** and a "RAT" and I also KNOW that I have enough exerience to stand up when I want to. I get so tired of it.... we are ALL having fun...

I don't pose.. I drive. I am also not a troll. I know lots of these guys personally. I have not been to the HAMB in a long time. I am so excited for the show tomorrow I decided to drop by and say so. Nice! Thanks Ben... I love my Sammy... He turned my pumpkin into a hot rod! It is unfortunate you will miss the show. I wish you the best in doing what ever it is you will be doing... As far as the HAMB I am just bored as hell here at work otherwise I avoid it for the very reason you see so clearly reflexed it the chat above... I can't wait to drive the new car tomorrow and I am gonna tear it up I mean ****ing TEAR IT UP on the way to Santa Maria... much respect
