Heading back to see my mom for Easter, will have to get out of the house sooner or later. So anything car related going on ? Probably take the family up to the Arch one day as well, last time all the rides up were sold, guess we spent to much time at Meramec Caverns. Sikeston Dragstrip still running on Sat. nights ?

I'm sorry I can't answer the actual question, but I had to tell you that I'm from S.E. MO as well. I'm from Jackson and my wife is from Cape. Isn't there an 1/8th mile drag strip on the Benton exit if you go East? I seem to remember it being there but I haven't been in about 4 years. I hope you have a good time in S.E. MO.

The strip you are talking about is Sikeston, I'm from Dexter, looks like it's still on Saturday http://www.sikestondragstrip.net/

The Royal Lippizan Stallions are going to be in St. Charles, MO Saturday, neat horses, supposedlt the best trained in the word. I hear they put on a good show. My wife and daughter are going.

Sikeston is my old stompin' ground. I don't know if they are running Sat nights yet, but i bet the they have a Pro/ Super Pro combo at the least. Ray Porier sold the place but its still nice from what I understand. the Dixie DoorSlammers still do a couple of shows a year.

I'm willing to guarantee that at least one ham will be cooked and consumed somewhere down that way.

There may or may not also be yams involved (of course, prepared without those freakish little marshmallows).

Thanks for the info, that's a 3 hr. run, not to sure about that one after a 16 hr. trip the day before. I need to cordinate myself or the school system to work with me and car events. Come to think of it, the kids are off already and so am I....so it's the girlfriend that's holding up the show, who would have thought...lol
