Looking for some help.... Not Mine but I sure do love the look.

I'm getting ready to chop my 50 ford and I would very much like to speak with the owner or builder of this car. I dont know if he is a HAMBer but I figured its worth a shot maybe somebody knows the car & can possibly hook me up with the owner.

This chopped '50 Tudor is fantastic. Very tasteful touches, not chopped too much, not too low. Perfect. If I had to pick something it's that the tall auto tranny shifter doesn't go with the rest of the pure '50s theme.

Here's mine. Chopped 3 1/2, Sectioned 4. Can't wait to start on it right after I wrap up a 36 ford pickup truck. I have a '50 ford meteor grill, chrome KH tbird wire wheels w/ www, and a 331 hemi. I plan to radius the rear wheelwells.

Look up Jamco Suspension. Not sure if they are alliance members but they do post here. Also ECI Brakes has a front disc and power brake kit. Brent Vandervoert (sp?) from Fat Man Fabrication also posts here and should be able to help. Do a search for "disc brakes for shoebox". I came up with 3 pages.

Thanks for the info. I got the disc brake kit and power brake kit ordered from Jamco Suspension. Do you know any where to order window glass channel, belt weatherstrip kits and front, rear vent window seals?

You might want to look into AeroStar Springs..... Check out Johnny 1290's Post

John has put together some great tips for the shoebox fords....

Too bad were so far apart.... Im getting ready to clip my shoebox ford and I have the complete front clip coming out of my 50 Shoebox.... It has 54,000 miles on it and has been in storage since 1959..... The front end is in real nice shape and seems that it was a very well maintained car.... I plan on putting a lot of parts, Front end, Rear End, Trans (OD) and a lot of small parts that will not be needed in my project... Figure sometime around fall of this year........
