He was a man who had it all! There have been more then a few interesting finds (it’s offered with out reserve). Aside from cars there is over 10,000 automotive, military, railroad, and aviation items.

The staged picture of a man resting on a motorcycle amidst a m*** of beer bottles is from the Hollister riot which occurred during the Gypsy Tour motorcycle rally in Hollister, California, 1947. The event was sensationalized by yellow news reports of bikers "taking over the town" and staged photos of public rowdiness.

 

Noticed he has an Edsel wagon in his collection too. Who was looking for one??
