never mind I did a search. Right now I'm leaning towards recovering one of the two sets of seats that came with it and making it road worthy
Thanks for all the warm welcome. I'm sure I will be around asking dumb questions for quite some time Very nice 51 two door, by the way!
Ok. I have to tell the story. My Dad calls me and says "What's a 51 four door worth?". I said I don't know, why? He said that a buddy of his had bought a 50 2 door styline coupe off of him for 200 bucks. I thought **** this is going to be a bucket. He tells me the 4 door has been sitting since 78. I figured it was a rotten bucket of s**** metal. Then one day after Church I get a call from my Dad. He says get the other trailer, I'm picking up the car and this old man keeps giving me parts. I show up and I wish I had a camera. This old coot had a 3000 sq ft brick house that he never lived in (never even cut a driveway to it). Built it back in the 70's. Our car sat under the car port of it for 30 years on blocks. Dad said he had two old cars in the garage(40's-50's era), but he wouldn't show them to him. Old guy would come along and oil the wheels every now and again. My wife said she didn't think I had a smile as big as the one I had when we carted this old bomb home on our wedding day! Heck having that kind of story to tell is worth the money to me.
