Does anyone have pics of a Shoebox with 56 Chevy side trim. (Photoshop maybe?) My thought was to start the trim over the front wheel like a buick side trim and run it to the rear bumper. The skirts could then be made to follow the trim and almost disappear. If you think I'm nuts just say so, I'm ok with it.

There is a shoebox in the current issue of hemmings for sale with the 56 trim on it. Orange and white in color.

A "older" gentleman once told me they used to use 55 chev fourdoor trim on shoeboxes as a pretty nifty spiff up...

I've seen the orange car up close. Well built car! The small Chevy has faux Hemi valve covers though. :(

I hear ya Tman!!! Always one in the crowd.

Henry29 Thanks that coupe is nice.

After looking at some stuff on Ebay I am seeing there is 2 different trim types. I kinda like the single spear a little better.

Can somebody photochop the coupe in Henry29's post to a single spear (loose the top half)and move the trim down a little so the back ends at the bumper instead of on top of it. And if its not to much to ask a dark green top and white below the trim with skirts PLEASE?!?!

    Thanks guys
    Eric

Wasnt sure how to move the trim down without screwing up the look of the car so I left it alone.

Like the green & white (Michigan State fan). I was kinda thinking of loosing the vertical piece and using the horizontal to break the colors at the front wheelwell. I am also wondering if the fender spear will have to be REALLY short (6-7 inches) behind the wheelwell to get the rear tip behind the bumper. (if that makes any sense)

I found my Paintshop Pro disc and now I need to relearn it. I haven't used it in 2yrs. I'm trying to come up with something too.

Well after finally finding the software I've been looking for, I have now spent several hours relearning it and I came up with this. Its no the same car as Henry29 (The 2 tone is messin with me) I added fender skirts and the side trim. Let me know what you guys think.
