2nd chance...Intro

  1. HAMB'rs one and all,

First and foremost...I would like to take this opportunity to thankyou all for this website.:)

In the land of 'street' rodders, billet, L300 front ends, jag rears, fibregl*** bodies and modern interiors, this 'traditionally' focussed website is a godsend.

I love all things antique...always have. From furniture to cars and everything in between.

I like traditional customs, taildraggers, lowriders...whatever you like to call them. Westergard and Hines influences.

The 1940 Plymouth sitting in pieces in my shed was saved from a 'street rodder'...motor and gearbox was pitched, even threw the the steering shaft (beats me, but I got the shroud)the original ch***is went to the s**** man for a modern frame that doesnt fit. My search for a ch***is continues.

I count my blessings that I found the ol' girl...unsiezed the original handbrake mech last night and couldnt be happier.

She is rough...cant deny it but well worth the effort required, the price was easily swallowed. I hope I can pull this one off...

A**** many things, this site has shown me patience, the easy option aint always the best. It will be a long haul but the plan is to stay true to mild 48 -50 style custom, and true to the styling of the car...

That will do me...now that I have introduced myself that is the end of my lurking...(unless I get my *** kicked here) I'll be in the shed.:D

    Cheers
