Just now getting around to posting a ''intro'' post but I joined the forum in febuary. Sorry bout the delay. That said here goes.... My name is Dwayne , nice to meet ya [ i think ]. I'm 32 and live in East Ky. I'm a c-5 quad due to a diving accident back in 94. Even though i cant work on our project car, i am right there every time my Dad is working on her. Oh yeah i forgot to say we are partners on a 51 chevy 2dr styleline . i guess you could say partners, we split the cost on everything but he does all the work as for me well i'm good at finding parts and researching for info and i'm good at making hairbrain suggestions Dad is a hotrodder from the late 60's early 70's and i'm enjoying the build, getting to hang out with my oldman is priceless to me. I'm learning alot from him as well. I am also a firearm and ww2 enthusiast and run a firearm website/forum www.mausercentral.com/forum i go by mauser central on the forum say howdy if you check us out ! Hey Dwayne Welcome to the group. It seems we share an interest in hot rods and firearms. I used to collect Colts, 1850s era. Now more into all makes and models pre-WWI. How about keeping us updated on the Chev? Maybe a few photos? Research is equally important to the actual doing.
