The show was as good as any and it was in Vegas. I'll put that up against any local anytime!!!!!!!

Jesus... so what if there are some shitty cars and "orca betties" you dont have to look at the pictures. There are plenty of nice traditional rides at Viva. seems like a lot of wasted energy is being burned playing "online scene police" Im not into Rat Rods, Shitty Rockabilly,Pompedours and Hair Grease either..but I certainly dont waste my time thinking about it.

An awful lot of the people that go there aren't from the US, so I think your observation is poorly formed.

or even this country... I always had fun there though, some of the coolest people from all over the world show up... I'm pretty sure both Mazooma1 and Blown 61 have never been, that lets them make statements out of ignorance.

 

That's right. It all depends on who is running the camera. There was some real good stuff there. You just had to ignore all of the "look at me" crap.

there was screeners thay were standing at the entrance decideing which hunk of junk to let in and which one to turn away looks like thay turned away the wrong ones

There was lots of good rides there. Lots of cool car club folks. Lots of good drinks, good laughs, and good friends to make and hang with. But like any subculture, it's just a matter of 10-15yrs. before it becomes popular culture. Joe-public is slowly killing the jalopy. They interpret early jalopy low budget hot rodding into CRAP RODDING! Most of the posers walking around don't have cars, mostly because there spending their money on tattoos and their fat girlfriends. I love fat chicks but I don't want to see all their blubber out in the wide open, makes me want to get my elephant rifle. Anyways the best part of Viva for me is driving my slEdsel 4 hrs. there and 4hrs back. I left early saturday morning for Viva and came back late saturday night. The driving is the best part and a close second is parting with my buds. I'll be back next year, just with my rod. See you there.....

This is a prime example of why I wouldnt drive two miles to that show let alone to another state. Can this dude honestly say he looked in the mirror and thought that looked cool? No wonder the general public thinks we are a collective joke, nice going hoof head.

 

I'd like to check viva out sometime i've also heard that there's more good builds than crappy one's
