looks pretty complete for 500. the interior panels look like good driver quality.

texas is pretty dry but any major rust issues?

  3. that looks like a hell of a deal for $500. the upholstery looks decent. you could re-motor it , check the vital stuff like brakes, exhaust and tires and have a lot of fun for not much money

hardly no rust at all but... it was so rust free someone did decide to borrow a patch panel cut out of the right rear fender

its an easy fix so im not complaining

what baffles me is that its a missouri car only been in texas since 94 yet its still rust free

That was a steal for 5 bones. I see it's got the orange crusty **** between the gauges, from one of those plastic oil change reminders. My dad's '54 has that in the exact same spot. What are the plans for it?

hell of a good price. I paid $600.00 for one all rusted to ****. a 4 door with no door bottoms at all on any door. parted it out and got over $3500.00 though so I didn't mind paying too much.

Texas does not have a monopoly on rust free cars, Missouri doesn't get all that much snow and they used to use mainly cinders and sand when they did. Used to be lots of solid iron there. Might still be but if there is the Missouri boys won't "show me".

I was thinking the same thing. Whats bad is they probably cut the quarter up to fix an old water tank or something. That's a nice car though, regardless of the big hole.

Thats cool. I think I paid $650 for my 50 fleetline. But that was like 25 years ago. Good luck on the build.
