Love those little Mercury Meteors, and hope you get it running soon! You need to get out the test light and mulitmeter and start tracing if you aren't getting fire at the points. I would start at the ignition switch, working out until I found the problem. It could be any of numerous components causing the trouble. All you can do is keep checking until you find the source.
Are you sure there is no fire to the points? If there is and you are getting fuel, check for a jumped timing chain. Give us all the information you can on what you have, and have not tried. The H.A.M.B. guys will help you.

check the dizzy to make sure its not grounding under the points. After so many thousand advances the wire likes to break.

If you have any questions about how stuff looked originally on a '62 meteor let me know, the shop that has my '65 mustang lent me a really nice condition '62 meteor s-33 to drive until I get the mustang back, and I would be glad to check stuff on it. It appears to be an all original car with just one owner before the guy at the shop.

if it would be possible I would love pictures of the carb and the arm accellerator arm that goes from gas pedal to carb. That would be awesome thank you so much. Also just pictures of the whole engine bay would be greatly appriciated.

    THANK YOU
