1941-42 Ford V-8 Block and parts for HAMB auction. After everything the HAMB has given me it’s time to give something back. All proceeds go to Ryan for the HAMB. Up for auction is a 1941-42 Ford raised deck block with main caps, crankshaft, cam, lifters, and valve ***emblies. I stripped this block down to what you see in the pictures. I discovered a crack in the pan gasket surface and posted a thread on the subject. This is repairable. The block is sleeved. I haven’t mic’d the crank. The head studs are still in place but will need a couple replaced. The valves are the mushroom type with split guides. The lifters are hollow with cutouts. It’s going to need a good cleaning by your favorite method and some basic machine work to make it an engine again. Let's run this thing till 6:00 PM on the 15th. Once Ryan gets paid the block and parts are yours. The block is at my house in Mason City Iowa. I’m 2 hrs South of the Twin Cities and 2 hrs North of Des Moines. It can sit for a while but I do need the floor space so let me know if it’s going be a while before you can come and get it. If you need it hauled or want to do a HAMB relay, contact me by PM.
I'm a ****er for "puzzles*"; I'll go $75. * I bought a "pile-o-parts" Jeep last year, with some major pieces missing...
