Stock frame, suspension, and steering. They made custom brackets that attached to my factory 331 mounts (let's face it, the new motor is a bit lighter then the old one). On the drivers side, we had to use a Sanderson "p***enger" side header, as a drivers side one wouldn't clear the steering box, but putting a p***enger side one just cleared it. The ****** tunnel did need a little m***aging. I'll get better pictures later this week. Charles
thats what i was planning to make where I bolt on to the front of the engine a bracket that attaches to the stock mounts . Could you Email me a pic of what you did. It would be greatly appreciated. Todd B.
This morning I drove sweet Genevieve over the Vincent Thomas Bridge to my brothers house for breakfast and at the last second I decided to shoot a little video. No radio just the wind and the sound of her 390. Rob http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1EYz4nuRyJw
anyone know who's 53 caddy this is. Its bad to the bone. Im considering bagging my 51, but would like to see some pictures of how it was done in the rear - leafs or 4-link? I want to take the easy way, not really into doing a month long fabrication job. Im certain the front is made up of bags, cups and lines. A no brainer im sure. Hope someone can help.
Chopped50, that used to belong to HAMB member baggedmitsu. pm him and he can give you the 411 on it. i agree, it is a nice Cad.
i just got this 59 'vert last weekend, decent solid car with rebuilt motor. anyone know who sells the 'offy valve covers for early caddies?
I'd really like to get ahold of a '55 Caddy, or even a '55 Caddy nose if it would fit on my '55 Olds Super 88. Damn cars look sweet! Might be pushing it for some of you(too new?) but I'll post it anyways, my '72 Fleetwood 75. Sweet car, going to be my daily for awhile. Dual 3" exhaust on it w/ Spintech muffs.....get lots of looks rumbling through town in this baby! Want to get some different wheels & re-do the vinal top, but shes a sweet runner. You would not believe how much room is in this thing, which is good for me, I got 4 kids! -John
