stromberg help??

    tryin to build a set of stroms. for my y-block 3x2, I have one that throttles are stuck in the base, what have you guys done to get them loose without tearing stuff up?? thanks-

    there is a product called GIBS that you can get that will free it up w.w.w. gibsasize .com.

    Great luck with Liquid Wrench or 50/50 mix of ATF and acetone.

    Heat the base and keep the throttle shaft and plates cool. Should free it up..You can also squirt WD 40 on the shaft. Don't give up, you can do it..

    Also, you cannot apply much force on the lever or tapping on the butterflies without destroying something. You can safely tap on the ends of the shaft, moving it very slightly back and forth to encourage loosening and oil creep.
