Wow...great coverage. Interest to constrast your coverage to the thread that was closed.

450 cool cars and 25 ugly ones. Not bad.

  9. Wow! Looks like the show took a more real world approach to haveing a good show.

Some cars are not very good but for the most part it looks like I would go next year for sure. Looks like it was a ton of fun.

that car is an electric powered rod, deffinitely different, it was well put together to hide the motor and make people ask questions

  16. I can't remember if they said, "restoration" or "re-creation", regardless, it was well done and was awarded "best custom" by the Shifters.

    Great gallery of pics !

    Thanks, Johnnie.

Mabye if you could take a few more pics next time. I found it hard to really grasp the feel of the show with your limited selection. Thanks for sharing for the rest of us who stayed home thrashing.

If you want more photos check our site www.thanks2frank.com we posted about 1400, for good or for bad we make an effort to shoot every car at every show we hit. We even shot most of what was in the parking lot. Enjoy

  19. So far only you got a shot of the huge IH semi...THANKS for posting

  20. Its the Polyniesian II, was there and is currently owned by Butch BeBeau in Mesa AZ. He has owned it for a number of years, drives it a bunch, however would part with it if offered the right amount Around 35K, maybe less for the right deal, he just completed a 29 HiBoy with a 371 on a 59AB flathead with a T5 5 speed so the Olds probably wont be driven as much. Give him a call, good person to talk with, "OLD" time Hot Rodder!! We drove up from Mesa, he got over 19 MPG, way better than me. Later Dave

Viva is always a great show and the new venue was great. There were alot of great cars and alot of really great bands. My first time seeing James Intveld and that alone was worth the trip along with Lance Lapinsky. Axle and the Shifters do a great job. People always find the bad things to talk about weather it be the cars or the bands, but there is an awfull lot of good stuff as well. The Colorado gang will definately see you next year!

Great pics. There was so much to see from all different styles that it was hard to grasp what was really there. Thanks for getting my old TBird in there. It was her first show.
    cheers-

I love this '55 Desoto, why... Because I drove it from Indy to Vegas, then California, and back home with no problems whatsoever, a 4,000 mile trip. Stone stock 291 Hemi with over 100,000 miles on it. First car I bought when I was 15 years old... I love this car.
Great pics, some of the best ones yet!
