Chevy 3100 Vent Window Deletes

I know I saw this somewhere but now I can't find it anywhere. Does anyone know where I might find the kit that let's you get rid of the vent windows and use the earlier style one piece gl***? I got a line on a couple of doors that are in great shape for a great price, but I'm rebuilding a 1950 so I don't want the vents.

I haven't seen a kit for the 51-54 trucks any where, only the 55 second series and up.

Can the doors be modified to use the 1950 gl***?

 

You can change out the doors to a 50 or earlier. The regulator has a different mounting, uses a 2 piece scissor arm instead of the single arm of the later ones.

brothers trucks has the conversion kit for the 55 style. But thanks for the suggestion.

 

Brothers kit ****s, I couldn't believe all the hokey **** they expect you to almost do, so it almost works

 

Turns out it wasn't a kit after all. They just made their own window channels and took the vent windows out.
