I need some help. I am heading to Austin. Generator went out on my 56 Ford with a 292 Y block. Does anyone have a generator and regulator. I'm driving at this time. I'm at Pauls Valley Ok going south at 7am Thur. Bought a extra battery to keep going. If anyone can help please call me at 405-416-3080

Generator aren't very hard to rebuild. Best I can remember (last one I rebuilt was in 72). Seems like there have been alot of gen failures lately. It might be a good idea to have a spare in the trunk. I think it would be worth a fortune if you're on the road and have one go out. Good luck.

I'm in Austin. Just left Reggie's BBQ. The Hamb is great!! After I got the generator fixed I made it to the Cech Stop and had A tire going flat the ****er tubes I got for my tires are coming apart at the seams. I guess Monday I'm calling ****ers. This is the 3rd time in a year. All were different wheels. See you all at the Roundup.
