I am looking at putting a 331 Hemi in a 31 model a on 32 rails. I want to run a hood with the sides. My question is will the hood sides fit on this combo?

    Thanks!

They will not fit. The engine is too wide in the front.

Nope, check my album for my HEMI roadster. Speed blisters look cool anyway!

A friend... (primer 31) on here is doing the same thing. But with a 354 hemi and no hood sides. but if you need the hood sides maybe blisters would work for ya. This is a 354 HEMI in a 38 dodge truck with a 4 inch set back and even with the set back we could not use hood sides. Hope this helps...ghost

I always thought that a car with a hemi sold for more money because of the motor
It’s the labor to get the dam thing to fit good luck with the oil filter /the oil pan hitting the ground/ headers/steering box / the distributor hitting the body . .
It all worth it in the end when you park next to a SBC at a show:D

Like everyone said, It won't fit. Blisters or set the front of the engine all the way back to the firewall and drive from the rumble seat. I'm going to leave the hood completely off of my 30 A coupe, the 354 looks so good I couldn't cover it up. Maybe just run the top of the hood.
    Good Luck.

Blisters look cool. As an alternative, I've seen hood sides with precision-fit holes in them to allow the corner of the head and valve cover to peek out; looks muscular and racy. The one I am thinking about might have been a SOHC 427....... it wasn't just recently. Damn, I might be getting old.
