Can someone who's been there before give a newcomer some tips? Parking, best way to get there, etc. I'm going Saturday, I know it will be crowded but work calls.

no longer a swap meet, it's now a flea market. more people there selling bicycle parts and kitchen gadgets than car parts.

Great:mad:. I let 2 of my friends talk me into going to Etown, instead of Carlisle. I need wheels & tires for my A. Will be there Friday.

That place disapoints me. Used to find good stuff/bargains, but now a lot of broken junk. Alot of vendors gave up and go to Carlise instead. Yes like you said "flea" market.

I have about 20 yrs under my belt there, and have seen the long slow slide downhill. 'Flea market' nails it pretty well, tho there's still the occasional find that'll surprise you. I haven't found anything for my '59 in the better part of 10 yrs there, tho.

Update. I saw plenty of good stuff there this weekend. Juice brakes rear plates for $40 with all the hardware. A bunch of straight ford axles for $30 each. A 46 front end complete with brakes and bones for $150. All that and a bunch of other stuff. I'd say some really fair deals. I scored some Model A factory spring u bolts (front and rear) and clamps and a juice brake grease catcher, all for $3.

Also ran into a bunch of Hambers while I was there so it was a great meet and greet as well.

Oh, and Dirtiest Devil told me about the "culver city" Halibrand rear end he just missed for $250. And the 3 perfect 16" KH wires for $50.

    Mike:

That Halibrand quickie will go down in history as one of the all time great sap meet scores.

I hope PA Gas posts a picture of this ellusive beast.
