    nothing innovative here.

Poncho lights in my 30 and 39 Ford in my 28.

I mounted them in the body in case I remove the fenders.

Put the spare tire mount back on, but shorten and modify it into a liscense mount with a A model tail/brake/liscense light on it.
Then make some brackets to mount two more to just inside the inner fender well area at the same hight as the liscence light for T-signals.
You need t-signals these days because no one looks for arm signals or knows what they mean anymore and you have a hell of a blind spot with the sedan.

I like these, or the 59' caddy lights molded into the rear corners

I'm thinking the safest thing would be put a long strip of LEDs in the back window

You know, I have been thinking the same thing. I have been thinking of putting a small thin strand of LEDs in the back window. Something real thin that attaches to the rear garnish molding that you would only see when the brakes come on.

My daughter is in the back seat of our car allot. With all the crazy drivers lately it makes me nervous. I am not a fan of third brake lights on Hot Rods but if it would help some one see me, I think I can live with it. This will be on my list of things to do this winter.

Personally I think the Cad bullet and 29 Ford's are way over done on sedans. I had a 50 Buick on mine, but in my opinion it was too small for the car. I just finished doing a 58 Chevy that I thought was somewhat unique.....then I read Grumpy's post...Doh! Try something new. Get creative. Here's mine. PM me about issues I had with heat and the plastic lenses (combined w/ 1157 bulbs).

Where'd ya get the Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania topper?

That's 15 miles from me. As a matter of fact you should just send it to me...

Lights look good by the way. Something unusual.

  23. I've since picked up some taillights that are bullets with a chrome ring and mount, with the base of the mount shaped like an outiside rearview mirror base. Old aftermarket. The reason the base is shaped like that? I've also found a couple of the exact same casting - except they are a mirrror. I don't know who sold them, but it would be neat to see a car with the mirrors and taillights both on them.

Yea, its an overprices but well built Matco Tool box. The only Matco tool i own.
Yes its a 70, ugly color.

One minute i like it in the center up high, the next in the center a little lower. Off tothe left side isn't bad either.

I figured I might as well add to an old thread instead of starting a new one.
Thanks for your input Tom. I think I'm going with the 5th one.

I like the 5th one but I think (IMHO) the bottom of the license plate should be right at the bottom of the body. That way the bottom line isn't broken up and it's more fun to stripe around.
