Well, We are planning on taking the Salt2Salt car back to Bonneville this August. It's a 53' Stude which will be running a traditional motor with a new twist (can't let out all the details...). We have two records already in this car and can see some spots in the record book where we might make a dent. If you would like to throw some time, money or turds at us, contact me! We will be doing most of the work in Blaine, just north of the Anoka airport. If you have never been out to the salt, this might be a great way to be involved in an effort and see the whole thing from the "inside". That sounds like a tempting invite TS. I've always been intreigued with Bonneville. My Great uncle had a Studebaker dealership in Wichita Kansas in the 40's into the early 60's. I'm a regular at the river Run in Anoka. I'll give you a call.
Glad to hear your bringing it back. This may be a big Studebaker year if all the new cars being built on the LSR site show up. Wouldn't it be nice if the Studes outnumbered the Camaros?
