Mustang II upper control arm measurement

Fellas, I am designing a front suspension for my '57 Ford and I need to know the distance between the ball joint center and cross shaft center. In other words the active length of the upper control arm. Everybody will sell me one the stock length, but what is that number?

Could someone please run out to the garage and measure this for me?

 

From the center of the grease fitting on top to the center of the control arm shaft is right about 8 inches.
