boy, i could add to this drama-- but the hamb is at its worst when the drama queens get fired up. remember all, it's just a magazine....

that said, all i know is: 1) the guy who wrote the article about Andy Douglas and the history of traditional hydraulics may be a total ***, but tells of a great topic :) and 2) through all challenges, Dan Stoner and Brian Bounds are good guys who made some damn good magazines.

to keep this thread on topic of the new magazine, and the portion of it that is hamb related (since it's not solely a car magazine)....

Back in the day, the X-Sonic represents a major first in aircraft hydraulics on cars history. When this car first dropped before a big crowd at a car show in Long Beach, so did jaws...

The Socal guys got it going. The Norcal guys had to play catch up..... and catch up we did.

Put your airbags back in the accordion-- aircraft hydraulics represent real tradition of adjustable suspension in customs.

the 'livin' the low life' episode that talked about these was great! didn't he say they used a pull string to release the pressure?

actually the way the story goes is that is didnt "drop" but that it was already low when it entered ,but that when it "rasied up" is when everybody went crazy.
there was a small barrier around the infield where the car show was held and everybody had to put boards and blocks around the barrier to get over it,Ron Aguire simply drove up to it,raised the car and everybody went nuts!

Yeah, i believe you're right, but what's way more important is the writing opportunity to relate the dropping of the car to the dropping of jaws. Duh! :D

Garage worked from an office next to my workshop in the building I am in.

This issue was done over 6 months ago, and it is the last issue that Dan and Brian will be involved in. They are no longer involved with the magazine.

I watched the entire thing implode over the last year. Dan and Brian did top-notch work and are awesome people and the entire wretched destruction of Garage was not their fault in any way shape or form. They fought the good fight until the very bitter end.

This is a perfect case of remote control 'management' gone bad.

****s cause the magazine was excellent under their stewardship.

I really hope they are able to present their side of the story some day.

Where's the zero star rating when you need it?

The funniest thing of all is if you sold parts thru the cl***ifieds with those business practices you'd be hunted by a torch bearing mob instead of praised.

I guess we really really really like purty pictures above everything else.

**** celebrity. **** art. **** slick production. **** excuses about print houses. **** it all.

At what time do you stop selling subscriptions? ****ing long ago, that's when honest people would've stopped.

**** that rag. I'm tired of ****ing hearing about it's nonstop ****ing drama and thinking less of everyone involved for their part in the ****ing pyramid scheme

If you are reading this and thinking of subscribing......DON'T ****ING DO IT! THEY'RE GONNA **** YOU!
