I have always used a harris torch but have recently been disappointed. I was going to switch to a victor torch but wanted some input.

  2. I use Victor setups everyday @ work, in my opinion, they're the best.

I like the Victor, been using them forever. I mostly use the junior anymore but can drag out the journeyman if I need to do heavy chores.
The biggest difference is in the O-ring design. The Victor O-rings are indestructable and one little flashback will take them out on a Harris, Smith or any of that design.

I have been in the Fabrication business for about 16 years and in my opinion, Victor can't be beat. I just used ours the other day cutting 2" plate steel. The biggest tip we had was still way undersized for the job, but it made the cut and did a good job of it.

Smith torches never seem to last like Victors, and the O-rings are too easily damaged. I don't know that I have ever used a Harris Torch.
