I am looking for some possible help? I just picked up some AR Torque Thrust for my '53 pu. 15x7's & 15x8's. Question- I have a Camaro front clip & Camaro rear- both from early to mid 70's. About to buy set of Diamond Back WWW's...205/75/15's for front & was thinking a 235/75/15 for the rear. Does anyone know whether this combo should/should not work on my truck? I currently have 14x6's on front with 205/75's & 15x8's with 225/75's on it and have sufficient clearance but I am not positive as to the backspacing on my current wheels (w/out pulling them off first. Has anyone ran this kind of combo on a subframed truck to know right off whether it will work fine? Also, does have disk, on front only. Thanks guys Tater
...if your new rims are the same backspacing as the old ones, the size tires you are thinking should work great; that's the size I'm runnin on my AD pickup that's set up just like yours.
i dont know if this helps but according to the fitment guide (i work at a tire shop) the 235 75 15 o.d. is 28.9 inches the 205 75 15 o.d is 27.1 inches
Thanks guys. I feel better knowing that Rusty1 has the same setup! Also, thanks for the dimensions!! Hope to post some new pics once mounted...then the lovers and the haters can speak out!!! Tater
On those 15x7's you better have at least 4" backspacing. More if your bagged and want to run it low..............
