Yup, 5 on 5.5". Also keep in mind that on some brake drums you'll need a round spacer to go behind the wheel to keep it mounted flat. There are a few threads on those, someone makes them and they're really cheap, supposedly the right sized piston ring works too. I think the wheel will bend or won't sit flat if you bolt them to a later drum without the ring in place, due to the way the original Ford drums were designed.

  4. Thanks guys...the guy wants $200.00 for them...should i try less...i just blew a chance on ebay..guy had 4 wheels (ford wires) all blasted and cleaned with new caps for $225.00 plus $60.00...well...these ended going for $405.00..the buy it now came off once the reserve was meant..the ones above for $200.00 are in great shape..ONE problem with these... have to travel 200 miles to get them...anything i should pay attention to when i check these out....

Like has been mentioned above these will only mount directly on early Ford brakes, later brakes (even early Ford juice brakes) need at least the spacer ring and at most an adapter as later drums (think Ford PU) drums won't fit inside the wheel hub.

Wheelkid here on the board has what ever you need as do others, he is an Alliance vendor.

$50 each isn't a bad price, that's probably going rate for decent ones. The blasted ones with new caps for $225 was a bargain. I have an extra set of four that I'm having blasted and then they'll be for sale, I'll probably want $200 for that set, no caps, and I can ship them.

If you do go to look at these, the common rust places are around the valve stem hole and on the inside lip of the beads (typical old steel wheel rust spots). Also check for bent spokes and wobbled out lug holes.

  7. If this is true then I have an issue...my front axle is a 48 F-1 and the rear is a 9" rearend off a 69 Bronco..Can anyone give me more info on this issue...I might have to re-think this....

  8. yes , while your wheels and front brakes and rear end all have the same 5-1/2" bolt pattern....they will not bolt up. you will need a thick spacer or wheel adapter

  9. Your going to need spacers. Wheelkid is the fella you need to talk to on here. Has already been said once.-Weeks
