I am in Sacramento.

Auburn is 40-50 minutes North of me. I know we have some HAMBers in Auburn. If none chime in, hit me up and I can possibly take a road trip to look her over.

Thanks guys! I love the HAMB. I'll PM you in order of proximity IF I get to that point with the seller. The car looks solid, but has been repainted, so I need a hands-on looksee. I know it has, what sounds like, a minor motor problem, so my main concern is body.

Thanks for all the offers guys, but the seller finally got back to me with a very honest reply. It sounds like the car is mostly Bondo... bad accident damage - repaired with Bondo, rust damage - repaired with Bondo, and the rest of the metal is pretty weak. That fresh paint really hides a LOT! Thankfully he was honest so I didn't waste anyone's time.
