Hey guys, Since our buddy Dave puts on such a successful cruise for the guys in northern California, we thought we would try one here in Minnesota. What it is: A chance to get your hot rod or custom on the road this spring and travel some fun and enjoyable scenic roads with your friends. The catch is that you will not know the route until you arrive at the Pump House gas station. The Pump House gas station/ truck stop is on the East side of Hwy 52/55 in Inver Grove Heights. We will cruise approximately 150 miles start to finish. Depending on how many cars show up we may split up into packs or all leave together. The last group to leave will be at 10 a.m. The Bastards will be there earlier to greet and to hand out the routes. Everyone will regroup at a resturant/ watering hole at the end of the cruise. Hope you can make it! Thanks to Nick Sinclair for putting the poster together!
Cool good to see the info for this posted! Holy Christ I gotta get my car back together! Anybody got a Pitman shaft seal for a 50 Plym?
I'm always in for hanging in with the Lucky Bastards ... I'll try to round up some friends with the "right" cars to join in too ...
You best believe I'm gonna be there. In fact, I just gave the rear of the sedan an extra inch of travel, just to accommodate those fine Minnesota spring-time roads!
I plan on going, have to drive the wife's nash , the Heap is torn apart and I am too much of a pussy to take the triumph.
We went out and made a test drive of the route yesterday. Lots of fun back roads... Hope you can make it and hope the weather was like yesterday!
We are getting there! The route is planned the tool truck is designated. We are looking at about 110 miles.. Who else is going?
Weather Channel is calling for 70 degrees on Sunday!! Woo hoo! Maybe we should circle the route twice!!!
I'm gettin' excited! I got a bunch of work to do on the 51 and a little to do on the "double dater" before the wife gets it for the summer.
I figured you'd have something to say as usual. Both of those guys you allude to also have 50s rides. How many you have on the road now?
It was a joke you pansy...and sorry I can't just open my checkbook and buy a car to drive, not that it ever goes very far from home...
