Hi gang...Im a.....newbie...... Looking forward to meeting some people on here and sharing some info. I have a 41 Chevy Special Deluxe that I just purchased from a guy in Reno NV back in October/Nov. He didnt know much history on the car so maybe someone on here will recognize the description. This is how it was when I purchased it. It is a 2 door "opera" coupe and currently has a 283 Chevy engine with a 350 T.H. Trans, Re-wired completly for 12 volt, a 9" Ford rear and a Flaming River Rack and Pinion Front end. Also has a flaming River Tilt Wheel and white VDO gauges with the dash having been done over in gloss black. The floorpans , frame, trunk, are rock solid originals. newer dual exhaust and had bluish/gray roll and tuck interior. The car had been blasted and was in Gray primer when I received it. I was extremely pleased with the condition having bought it via EBAY. The body was super straight and solid. Recently I have painted it John Deere "Blitz Black" satin black to the body and am changing the interior over to black and red. Please give me a shout out if this car sounds familiar to anyone and you may have any history on it. I also have a red 57 Chevy 2dr hardtop (since 1981) and a (Dusk Pearl)57 Chevy belair 4 door hardtop (2 yrs) with 65 K miles on it, also an ebay purchase. I had to add on 2 more garages a couple years ago....and now all 4 are full......also have a 74 Vette Roadster (since 1976) and 2 Harleys. No kids to put through college so........................
