Here are my pics of this first big event of the spring up may way. Excellent turnout. Usually there is one or two cars that catch my eye at each gathering that I attend. There were plenty of nice cars but at this event this is the car that stood out the most (presumably 413 with cross ram injection): http://www.pangalacticconsortium.com/cars/CarEvents2009/FIT/imgpages/image340.html http://www.pangalacticconsortium.com/cars/CarEvents2009/FIT/imgpages/image341.html http://www.pangalacticconsortium.com/cars/CarEvents2009/FIT/imgpages/image342.html http://www.pangalacticconsortium.com/cars/CarEvents2009/FIT/imgpages/image343.html http://www.pangalacticconsortium.com/cars/CarEvents2009/FIT/imgpages/image344.html Here are the rest of the pics that I took: http://www.pangalacticconsortium.com/cars/CarEvents2009/FIT/index.html Rebecca
was a great swap meet. The highest quality of early ford parts you will find in a three row swap meet. I didn't need anything myself and I still managed to need to make a few trips back to the truck. score of the day for me was an early ford side shift box with decent gears for $30!
Haha, I knew what you meant. That is a very cool deuce roadster. Thanks for all the pics! I didn't get to walk around much, I was trying to sell stuff.
Not every car. That is impossible. Also, sometimes I don't take pictures of the cars that don't belong or that I think is a real abomination. flew: http://www.pangalacticconsortium.com/cars/CarEvents2009/FIT/imgpages/image027.html Rebecca
They were selling nothing but junk...junk, I tell you!! haha There were a lot of great cars there...thanks for all the pics, Rebecca.
from what I saw everybody was first time in YEARS I felt like I needed a cart at a swap meet. spent so much time looking at parts I didn't have much time to look at the cars. The recession must have everybody digging their parts out!
I am looking forward to Amherst Sunday. The first one of the season is usually great and the weather forecast is excellent. Normally I get up at about 3:30 for that one. It is fun to get there early. Rebecca
I rolled into fitchburg at 6:22 and didn't leave until 11:00. there were only three rows and I never stopped finding stuff. haven't been to amherst since I hit puberty. last time I went there it was getting pretty flea markety btw, I'm 29 now lol
Keith, from what I seen your fingers where worn down to nothing from sanding thats why you did not buy anything. Your hands where to sore to go in your pockets.
If I got a nickle for everytime someone asked me "how much" for my Edelbrock valve covers I would be a rich man. It amazes me how many people don't know the diff between early and late sbc. "Straight is late!"
