Where to find points/parts for 39 austin salloon?

    A friend of mine just bought a 39 austin with a flathead 4 cyl.
    He is trying to get the little 4 to run,
    Where can you find a set of points for something like this, or any other parts as far as that goes?:confused:

    Thanks, I tried them, they only go back to 53 now but they are sending me a free catologue. maybe we can use something out of it.

    His is a austin 8 but from what I have read in those links about the coils,points etc.
    I think a 350 chev with new wiring may be the best medicine for this little dude.
    It favors the old anglias and prefects for those who havent seen one;)

    If he wants to stay with British parts find either a MGB or MG Midget donor. Midget's are cheeeeeeeeeeeeap and the Midget's little four banger would match pretty close to the Austin. I would suggest a Austin box Sprite but there are not near as many as the Midgets.
