What's up gang! been lurking and hanging out for awhile. awesome site! I live in central Texas and been working on cars/trucks/big trucks all my life. I'am currently a diesel tech. at a local shop. I have several projects that i am working on: 56 ford customline, 27 t bucket, 66 mustang coupe ( this is finished) 64 t bird, and 74 corvette that me and my dad are currently restoring all work done at home out of a 2 car garage. I just got back from the Lonestar Roundup and for a first timer it was great! looking forward to next year when i can bring my 56.
Welcome from Dallas....formerly from Brownwood (1942-1958 and 1962-1969) in Central Texas. That county and town of 18,000 people had more street machines and outlaw dragstrips per capita than any other town in the U.S. Street rodding was the only thing to do there. People and their street machines would come from Austin to Abilene to race whoever the "King of The Street" was at the time.
