    Yep, I'll be driving my big oldsmobile... the coupe just isn't far enough along, maybe next year?

    Cool man... it wasn't really hard, but a little time consuming making the cone. Probably took me 30 - 45 minutes to pound that cone with a rubber mallet! Maybe it'll help you out in making a set? :D

    Thanks for sharing this information and pictures, I bought a set from Speedway and the cones are made out of beer cans, so thin. I am going to make my next set. Thanks again. Dave

    Woah! Spooky......I just grabbed an issue of StreetRodder for a visit to the library, March 2007, and on page 144 is the tech story you may be referring to.

    The cover has Lil' John's bare metal and white modified along with a drop in of Hammet's, Cole built '36.

    Nice work,by the way.

    Nice work! More motivation to get my wagon going - this progress that everyone seems to be making is killin' me! With a ****py weekend like this one is, it's a good chance to get out in the shop!
