As a few of you who have recieved stuff from me will know, I quite often 'Whodaky' packaging when I sent stuff to people.
Below is a large envelope I did a number of years ago. Can't remember who got this one, but I am pretty sure it wouldn't have been thrown out.
I really like the style of this one, but these days I tend not to do this style of stuff; maybe I should be trying this type of stuff again.
Funny how one's style evolves Geoff aka Whodaky

And of course it seems like I always post a shot of one of my models each 'Friday' nowadays. Whether it be an early Friday or a regular US Friday, what does it really matter!
K&R showed us some images of the Big Deuce he is building out of the new issue of that kit, well here's a few shots I built from one of the older issues, over 20 years ago. Geoff aka Whodaky [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Ok I looked up some of my first paint slinging monstrosities and took pictures of them (what a waste)....in fact most of you will say "How did he find the courage or stupidity to continue trying after this" I will never be as good as you kats but I can bet none of you have ever been as bad as I was or am.....Josh Fords fist striping adventures are still better than mine after months of practice. The first few where done with borrowed paint and brush on poster board (the person that let me borrow paint and brush is no longer with us on this worldly plane....he was supportive and helped me around every corner...r.i.p. Ty we miss you).....try not to throw up when you see this but here we go......

Ok now back to the present last week in the world of Jester the Awfull...First time I ever used a grid....If the grid had of been straight it still wounldn't have turned out any better so what the hell....its the emissions bench I work with..

No grid on this one cause I couldn't get the pencil to show up on the finish for some reason so it turned out bad well the talent less person paint also contributed....following it is the concept drawing I made earlier that day....

More work that last night tried a grid but fuck'd it up so I just used center line and let'er rip......

thanks Rob for reminding me I could be worse but I'm still not good enough [IMG]

  7. Well it's officially Friday so I guess I'll put up a couple things before I go out and face the world. In no particular order:A scale PT Cruiser,a couple of new "ladies",and a sign made from an old kitchen cabinet door that I bought at a yard sale(3 for $1 apiece).and whatever else is in the file.Enjoy.

  8. a panel for an upcoming show

  9. a panel called,"Birds-Eye view from a Purple Tarantula"(Hey I had to name it SOMETHING!)

  10. And the last one for now:possibly a new shop sign.Note:cutting a can of 1-Shot in half with a hacksaw is NOT as easy as you might think!Try it sometime if you don't believe me! [IMG]

  12. 'Sure are a lot of 'stripers out there. Not that that's a bad thing, keep it going guys.

hey, slightly O/T, do you remember the "striping tape" you used to get at Murray's or Pep Boys? 60 feet of press-on stripes. Ha ha

    Speaking of O/T, here's a quick workup I did for a friend of mine....Enjoy.
