Quick question: I have a 1940 ford tudor sedan, and I was wondering if the window regulators were the same for the right side door and right rear window or of the rear windows had different regulators. Thanks! -P40-

I KNOW they are different on a 39, and I am about 98% sure they are different on a 40.

Hello, the rears on the 40 Tudor I had would go towards the back of the car about one inch to act as a vent after they were rolled all the way up! Nice! regards, phred.

All are different. Some lefts and rights can be swapped in some cars by drilling out rivets and ***embling everything backwards...do not know if this is possible on a '40.

Thanks. I thought they must be different since they do go back an inch or two before they go down in the back. Just thought I'd pick the brains on here to find out for sure without having to tear everything apart! Thanks!
