Look what turned up on my freinds used car lot !
flat head & 3 in the tree,was purchased at an auction,car came with
all the build and service recipts

Hopefully repaint it! Needs lowering.

Maybe its just my monitor, but like the color or not, that color seems to me to be a period correct color. Looks to me to be very close to, if not exactly, Sunset Orchid...a 1957 Mercury color.
