    Is White the new Black?.............

  10. I think its great! I did the underside (frame, running gear, suspension, body fenderwells, everything underneath, etc) of my 40 in 75. Blasted everything, then DuPont Colar primer and white Imron. Bullit Proof, still looks as good today as the days I shot it, have done the same under the Deuce 5W and will due the Roadster the same. Dirt/oil/grease, not a problem a little degreaser and some pressure water, wipe clean. We love it. Dave

  11. HOTRD32 Nope, we did it back in the 50s.

I didn't think I'd like it, but looking at it, it looks slick! Nice sanitary approach.

    What color is the body?

OK So you are soliciting opinions.we all have one. I gotta go the opposite way here.I hate it. Looks cheap and looks like something a young teen does to his first car when he doesnt' yet have enough money to do a detailed build.But..its your car. If you like it then that is the only thing that matters. Our opinion is a moot point if ya love it.

Looks good now. I had a friend paint his white and on the first road trip he hit a bunch of low flying bugs and he had a ****** mess front front to rear. Hope you have a hoist to help keep r' clean.

So you solicit opinions by asking "what do you guys think?" and I tell you what my opinion is.Then you dis me in a private message saying my opinion ****s.Thats rather childish don't you think? You should have asked "what do you guys that like it think? Others need not reply." Then I wouldn't have bothered to give you MY opinion and you wouldn't have had to send me a private message telling me your opinion of my opinion. There is no style in hot rodding that EVERYONE likes.Like I said, its your car,you like it? Great!

A little too much white. I think it would look good with a little contrast. i.e. axle, backing plates a different color, etc.

I love the white! Think it will have more character when it turns yellowish-white like my grandpa's teeth.

I don't think I would have gone white on the axle and backing plates, but I still like it.
