Milwaukee hot rod folks host workshop for an experienced 40 year old metalmaster. Mr Gene Winfield is a expert bodyman touring around the country sharing his expertise with other aspiring hotrodders doing "lowering of the lid" or chopping the top on old cars being made into customs!! JUST IN----we were informed that we made an error in Mr. Winfields age, he is really 45 years of age. All in attendance were amazed at Mr. Winfields easy going, friendly and very informative sessions. Remote Reporter~Sololobo~

Anymore pics?? Whos the lucky dog that got his '40 Merc chopped by Gene??

How can we get him to come to the East Coast, do you call him and request?

Why can't I stop asking questions?

I just got back to Springfield, IL from Milwaukee where I spent most of the past two days watching Gene Winfield work his magic. Casey's car is looking great. I will let him post the photos of the job in progress. Here are a couple shots of Gene at work. It is amazing to watch him and to learn from him. He is the best in the business!

Alright here they are. The last and final pictures from the Gene Winfield invasion of Milwaukee. I just want to thank Casey for putting this on. Gene is great and still remembered my daughters name and took time to stop working to go and say hi to her. I met some great guys during this event. Everyone who was there got a hand in helping chop Casey's car. Thanks to everyone and hope to see you all soon... Here you go....

I have never noticed how out of proportion a stock 40 merc roof looks. It almost looks British.....

That after shot rules. It is perfect.

    Super cool, guys...

Had a great time. Here's my favorite. Gene stopped wheeling, went and got a chair for Casey's son to be able to see the forming process. Really a cl*** guy. Stu

I am jealous... of both the car in itself and of Gene using it as an example. Awesome!

Thanks again Casey. I'm really looking forward to seeing that car come together.

I'm really happy Jack got bit by the shutterbug.
