Just finished building a late (1968) custom....and want to use angel hair for the interior, looked every where I could think..even googled... anybody have a or know a place that sells angel hair...car turned out good for a late model something down and dirty custom. thanks Johnny Angel
I bought some years ago at JoAnns, I would guess they could order it is not in stock. What color are you looking for?
Looking for white angel hair, but rust/brown would work too....other thoughts on interior was to do a cheeta, jaguar, tiger print on the seats...founds lot of material on line for them...just no angel hair.
walk into just about any fabric store and they will have it. You may not find the super thin, long wispy stuff, but you can get long (2") thick white fur, and black and brown and green, and..
I think you are looking for faux fur, angel hair is spun fibergl*** that was used as a show display. JoAnns faux fur is pretty quality stuff. Just remember, once it gets dirty, it is next to impossible to clean. So Id velcro it down, opposed to gluing it. Good luck with the car!
I was at JoAnns today looking at the stuff. I felt kinda gay walking in there but sometimes you gota what ya gota do.
Yep, I've bought it at JoAnn's before. Use caution though, not only does it hold crud, it sheds like friggin crazy!
Hey man, don't feel gay about hittin' places like JoAnns, and Han**** Fabrics. Sometimes you can find a deal on upholstery fabrics at these places. Savin' money ain't gay.
definately be prepared forthe shedding,,, ou WILL have white **** in your mouth,,,up your nose,,,in your hair,,,etc,,,, When I helped put it in, we used spray adhesive,,,it worked slick,,, xoxox miss hootch
Weird, mine doesn't shed at all. At least, I haven't noticed it, but it's confined to my package tray and I have matching white interior (but black carpet). I do, however, have a nice ***ortment of insects trapped in it
