    Cool thread. I have 3 94's on my ride. They are progressive so it works pretty good. I raosted a 34 ford with a 401 with dual quads./ so I guess it runs pretty good. Oh mine is a 350. and the cars were about the same weight.

    Yeah, them deuces will give that flattie lotsa BALSA. He's really gonna kick some ASH with them at the track and be real POPLAR at the drive in.

    I thought carbs were illegal on pinewood derby cars. If I wood have saw those I wood have dusted the first round.

    Regardless of who said it, I don't think a lot of guys realize what a sophisticated device a carburetor is....

    Wooden it be nice if posters just answered the question? This thread kind of goes against the grain.

    Of course, the high performance manifold previously pictured, is probably an extension of the Acorn manufacturing company, which produced carburetors in the 'teens. Strange that these were never used on the Oakland cars. ☺
