After three days of cleaning, rearranging and getting dirty I finally got the Cadillac home.1959 Coupe Deville. Its been alot of fun and I love it.Ive wanted a Cadillac for over fifteen years. Now its time for the real fun to begin. It looks great but its needs just about everything you can think of fixed and replaced.put the new wheels and tires on and have a carb I got from HEATHEN, so Im on the right track I believe.Ill post pictures and keep you up to date.
Sweet! I think you need to get rid of the truck now to have more room to park the Cad. You can drop the truck off at my place whenever you're ready.
every time i think i've stared at the '59 Cadillac so much that i've gotten tired of it, i see a different picture and am reminded how much i love it. im stoked for you. the '59 Cadillac is one of the best. -scott noteboom
That is awesome man. It looks damn solid too. The 59 Caddy, a true statement of excess and elegance. Can't wait until you get er on the road.
Take a ScotchBrite pad and some Ajax or Comet powder, some car wash soap, and a bucket of warm water, and you'll get that car looking good, plus get all that tree crap off of it, in the process. Neat car!
Wow! After looking at your "as-found" shots the other day, I didn't think it was going to be that solid! Nice score!
She's a beauty! Chrome smoothies and wide whites make any old car look great, but on a '59 Caddy.....YOWZA! Can't wait to watch the progress on this one. Let me know if you want any help. My schedule is jacked up, but I'd love to pitch in when I can.
Man I had one of those same color even it was a blast to drive ....the only bad times I ever had was washing and waxing it thats when you found out what 19 and a half feet of tin will do to you ...... all day affair lol . Good luck on your find ....its all about having fun .
