Also funny is when you get pulled over by the policeman in your LHD car... and your fairly drunken p***enger, who is sitting on the 'right' side of the car, gets asked for his license. Funny... until everyone laughs at the policeman... and he gets upset, and starts writing tickets...

G'day Fish,Must be a new law since I left. Left hand drive cars were around when I was there and Bobby Armstrongs younger brother built a 55 Chev into a left ****** ,and I can think of a few others. Any left hook car could be driven without any h***les what so ever.My mum had a new Fiat 850 Spyder which was left hand drive and when I was little kid I remember heaps of of jeeps and ex US army Fords with a little plate on the rear stating " caution left hand drive ,no signals".(No indicators or hand signals) . You can only blame all the fools you guys elected into parliament for most of the Bureaucratic ******** infesting the country.
